Christmas at Rembrandtplein.

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day: the cafes and restaurants around the square are open, the clubs run their Christmas editions, and the terraces sit under the lights. This is the venues' own agenda for the Christmas days, fresh every day.

Rembrandtplein does not close for Christmas. The brown cafes and music cafes are open most days, the restaurants on Reguliersdwarsstraat, Amstelstraat and Utrechtsestraat cook Christmas menus (book at the venue), and the clubs on and around the square programme their own Christmas nights, from Boxing Day into the holiday week.

Practical: on 25 and 26 December public transport runs a holiday timetable; the square is a five-minute walk from Muntplein and Waterlooplein. Tickets and tables are always arranged at the venue.
