RembrandtpleinAmsterdam

Live music in Amsterdam.

Live music every night on and around Rembrandtplein: Dutch-language singers in the music cafes, Irish sessions on the Amstel, bands and DJs in the clubs, theatre concerts in the small hall. This is the venues' own agenda, fresh every day.

Rembrandtplein is the place in Amsterdam where live music is not an afterthought but the reason to come. Café Tante Roosje on the square puts Dutch-language artists on the floor every week; Mulligans on the Amstel plays Irish and folk music with open sessions on Wednesday and Sunday; De Heeren van Aemstel on Thorbeckeplein books bands on Friday and Saturday, with DJs until morning; Jantjes Verjaardag runs Dutch-language nights with live artists at the weekend; De Kleine Komedie on the Amstel stages theatre concerts and cabaret; Lellebel on Utrechtsestraat has karaoke and queer performances.

Tickets and reservations are always arranged at the venue; many music cafes are walk-in. Everything below comes from the venues' own agendas, with date, time and the night's own picture.
